Karin joined the GRBS Leadership team in 1989. In 1998 Karin was able to double the size of GRBS, expanding service from Grand Rapids to the entire State of Michigan. In 2004, she pioneered the first successful full district custodial program with Holland Public Schools, ensuring contract cleaning as a viable alternative. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development. She is a Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) through Building Services Contractors Association International (BSCAI), one of only 350 professionals and one of 40 women worldwide to have achieved this status.
